Our Process and Expectations
Bonneville Countertops follows a simple 5-step process designed to take you from initial quote to a finished installation with ease and transparency.
STEP 1
Consultation & Quote

Get your free quote from Bonneville Countertops within 48 hours!

To provide the most accurate countertop estimate for your project, please include the following information when requesting your quote:

Measurements: Send us your house plans, cabinet drawings, or even a simple hand-drawn sketch with measurements. You can easily upload these documents online when submitting your quote request.

Material Selection: Let us know if you already have a specific quartz, granite, or other countertop material selected, or if you have a budget or price range in mind. If not, we'll provide pricing based on our per-square-foot rates using a few select materials to get you stared.

Backsplash Options: Most quotes include an eased edge profile. If you're interested in upgraded custom edges such as mitered, ogee, dupont, bullnose, or other decorative finishes, just let us know.

Sink Selection: Our standard sink options include single bowl or 50/50 stainless steel kitchen sinks, square or oval bathroom sinks, and stainless steel laundry sinks. We also offer access to a wide selection of sink styles through our supplier network, or you're welcome to provide your own sink. The sink must be at template, if you choose to provide your own.

Many customers choose to visit our showroom in Smithfield before requesting a quote so they can explore material options in person. We offer hundreds of quartz samples and a selection of granite samples to help you find the perfect fit for your project.
Step 2
Finalize Selections
Once you've received your initial quote, the next step is to finalize all of your projects selections before we move forward with scheduling your template.

During this step, we will confirm your final sections for material, backsplash, edge profile, and sink option to ensure your project pricing is as accurate as possible prior to final template measurements.

Once your selections are complete and your cabinets are fully installed and secured, we will schedule your template appointment.

Template appointments are typically scheduled within a few business days depending on project readiness and scheduling availability. After templating, fabrication usually takes 7-10 days before installation, depending on material availability and project scope.

Finalizing these details ahead of time helps keep your project moving smoothly and ensures your countertops are installed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
Step 3
Templating
Once your cabinets are fully installed and all sections are finalized we schedule your template.

During templating, we take measurements of your space to ensure your countertops are fabricated for a perfect, custom fit. We also confirm layout details such as seams, overhands, sink placement and any special features.

If you are providing your own sink, it must be on-site and available at the time of templating so we can verify proper fit and make any necessary adjustments.

A 50% deposit is collected prior to or at the time of template in order to move your project into fabrication.

Templating appointments are typically scheduled within a few days once your space is ready.
Step 4
Fabrication & Quality Check
Once templating is complete, your project moves into fabrication.

During fabrication, your custom countertops are cut, polished, and prepared for your space using the measurements taken during templating.

Fabrication typically takes 7-10 business days depending on material availability, project size, and design complexity. Our goal is to ensure every countertop meets our quality standards before it leaves the shop for installation.
Step 5
Installation & Final Touches
Your installation is the final step, where your custom countertops are delivered and professionally installed in your home.

Our installation team carefully places, secures, and finishes each piece, ensuring proper alignment, clean seams, and a precise fit. We also complete any necessary final sealing, adjustments, and touch-ups so your countertops are ready to use and built to last.

Once installation is complete and you've approved the finished project, the final payment is due at completion.
